On the Bruckhart Farm
The Bruckhart Farm has been in the family a long time, almost 200 years! My husband Jared grew up here and we moved here nearly a decade ago. We have 5 children and they have all helped with the Bruckhart farm flowers.
From planting and weeding in the Spring, to dahlia digging in the Fall, (and everything in between) my kids help me with the gardens.
Two peas in a pod! Working for Mom is always more fun when it involves the golf cart.
Fragrant garden roses. My all time favorite flower!
I love to be outside, enjoying and appreciating God’s beautiful creation. Of course, gardening is one of my favorite things to do. Planting flowers and watching them grow gives me great satisfaction. And it’s even more enjoyable when I can share the fruits of my labors. It would make me so happy to be able to share our flowers with you!
My flower cart headed to the cooler!
Centerpieces are one of my favorite things to design.
Where did the name Cool Spring Garden come from? The spring, Cool Spring, originates in our woods and flows into our pond. When the weather is dry my flower gardens are irrigated with this spring! The road beside our farm is named after the spring as well, Cool Spring Road.
Growing flowers and cultivating beauty is hard work. Most of our time in the garden is rewarding, especially when we are cutting flowers. I get giddy with excitement over each new flower that opens, and often call the kids over so we can marvel together and appreciate its remarkable beauty.
We have all learned a lot about flowers since we began selling cut flowers in 2015. Even the kids know the names of our flowers and the specific way to cut and condition them. Each year we learn more!
